1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Disc Finder mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Disc Finder is a mobile application designed with your privacy in mind. The App allows you to catalog and manage your disc golf disc inventory entirely on your device. All user data is stored locally on your device by default—we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on our servers.
3. Data Storage and Privacy
• All your disc inventory, bag information, and personal data remains on your device
• We do not access, collect, or transmit your data to our servers
• If you choose to use device backup features (iOS iCloud or Android Auto Backup), your data may be backed up according to Apple's or Google's respective terms
• We do not control or access any data backed up through third-party services
4. User License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Disc Finder for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the security of your device and any data stored locally
• Ensuring your device has adequate storage space
• Keeping the App updated to the latest version
• Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
7. App Store Terms
Apple App Store: If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Hazy Outpost, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
Google Play Store: If you downloaded the App from Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Hazy Outpost, not Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
8. In-App Purchases
• All in-app purchases are processed by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android)
• We do not store or process payment information
• Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies
• Pro features are tied to your Apple ID or Google account
9. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hazy Outpost and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or trade dress without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Any defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
• Results obtained from use of the App will be accurate or reliable
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or Pro features, if any
• We are not responsible for data loss, device damage, or any damages arising from App use
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hazy Outpost from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
• We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause
• You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hazy Outpost regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
